You Moving? You Need Boxes? We Got Boxes

So you’re moving huh? Well then, you’re going to need boxes, lots of them. The way I see it, you have a few choices. Keep reading to see which option tickles your fancy.

Option 1: You think to yourself, Hey, I’m gonna go down to LCBO and grab a bunch of free liquor boxes. Hey, that’s cool, if you want to spend several hours a week going from LCBO to grocery store scrounging up a few boxes here and there that can carry a few small pillows. Lets face it, liquor boxes are small, so that means that you’ll have to gather 50 boxes (if you’re lucky and you don’t have that much stuff yet) or 90 boxes because you have more stuff. No one is judging you. So you’ll probably spend 10-15 hours a week for several weeks hunting down boxes that can’t hold very much, and then after all that trouble and moving, you get to break them down and drag them to the curb/chute/bin to get rid of them. This is a fine option if you have lots of time on your hands. Congratulations to you and good luck.

Option 2: You say to yourself, I don’t want to waste my time searching for boxes. I’m going to go to buy some boxes, cause they’ll be new and bigger. So you go down to your local moving supply place, pick up your 50 or 100 boxes, tape, and other necessities. You come home with your monster wad of cardboard and then you realize, Hey, I gotta put these together? What the …? So you then spend several hours folding and taping these boxes, and getting so many paper cuts that it would make the Red Cross weep. After all that, you finally get to pack these boxes and move. But that’s not it. After you unpack, guess what, those boxes need to be recycled because your not going to be that guy that people give the stink eye to that doesn’t recycle. So you take the boxes that you spent several hours taping together and losing a pint of blood over and break them down, bundle them up again, and haul all those boxes to the recycling bin and be that good recycler. Really, you might as well just light your money on fire and watch it burn.

Now, I know that the above options get you about as excited as when you sit down in the dentist’s chair. But there is another way, an easier way to get you those moving boxes.

Option 3: You can rent boxes. WHAT?? Rent moving boxes? YES, YOU CAN RENT THEM. And before you think “Oh great, I can rent some cardboard boxes, fantastic.” It’s gets even better.

These aren’t your typical flimsy, made from paper boxes. These 24x20x12” boxes of packing perfection are made of tough industrial grade plastic magic. These boxes are built to take a beating and then some. Seriously, when was the last time you used a cardboard box more than 2 times? Never. These beauties can be used over 300 times (no, that is not a typo). These boxes are built to move. That’s seriously tough.

And guess what? They don’t need any folding or taping. In the time it would’ve taken you to tape together 80 something cardboard boxes, you could’ve be done packing and enjoying that special glass of something. Yes, you can have your life back. You’re welcome.

How can this be so easy you ask? Like this: Go to www.greenyourmove.ca and go to the Order Online tab. A few clicks of the keys and voila, you’re done. How easy was that? Ding dong, your boxes are here. You didn’t even have to leave your house and you can happily be on your way packing for your new nest of domestic bliss. After your done unpacking, we’ll come by and pick up the boxes. That’s right, NO WASTE. Now you can feel even better about yourself now that you’ve saved the planet a bit.

Now how much is all this going to cost you’re wondering? Almost as much as buying the cardboard equivalent but without the hassle and pain that comes along with it. And just so you know, each package comes with a box dolly that will make moving the boxes that much easier on your back. Just stack up a few boxes and roll them away. Who cares that much about making moving easier? We do.

So there you have it. Moving boxes. You need them. We got them. I don’t know about you, but Life’s hard enough as it is. Moving boxes shouldn’t be.
