No, Green Your Move is a company that supplies and delivers sustainable, reusable moving equipment.

2. Which areas do you deliver?

We deliver in the Greater Toronto area, Barrie and surrounding areas, and Collingwood. To view our delivery area, please click here.

3. How do I pay?

We accept Visa and Mastercard. You can pay on delivery or on-line with PayPal. Full payment is required on delivery of your order.

4. Do you provide boxes for commercial moves?

Yes. Please call us for a specialized quote.

5. Why would using Green Your Move be better than buying cardboard boxes?

There are many reasons why Green Your Move is better than buying cardboard boxes. Some are:

  1. Our boxes are delivered to your location, ready to pack. No folding, taping, or assembling.
  2. Our boxes are strong, and have helpful handles, making them easy to pack, stack, and carry.
  3. Renting our boxes is less expensive than buying cardboard boxes.
  4. When you are done moving, Green Your Move picks the boxes up. No breaking boxes down, no boxes getting thrown out.

6. How does using Green Your Move help the environment?

Each box can be reused hundreds of times, preventing hundreds of cardboard boxes from being thrown out, saving trees, water, and resources. In addition, a part of every rental goes to support environmental initiatives that are helping restore the environment.

7. How big is one of your boxes?

The dimensions of our boxes are 24″ long, 20″ wide, by 12″ high, and have a total capacity of 2.4 cubic feet or 70 litres.

8. What are Wardrobe Boxes?

Wardrobe Boxes make moving from closet to closet much faster and easier. Just transfer your clothes on their hangers into the Wardrobe Box, move, and hang them up in your new closet. Wrinkled clothes no more! Wardrobe Box dimensions are 21″ long, 24″ wide, by 48″ high. One Wardrobe Box per closet is recommended, clotheshorses excepted.

9. Is there a delivery charge?

Delivery and pickup is included in the price of the packages.

10. Will I receive a phone call from Green Your Move prior to my delivery?

Yes! When you first place your order, we will send you a confirmation email. A day before delivery, we will call you to confirm delivery details. We will also call you the day before your scheduled collection to confirm the details.

11. Do I need to be home for the delivery and the pick up of the boxes?

Yes. We will need you sign for the boxes on delivery. On the agreed upon pickup date, we will need you to be present when we count and collect the boxes.

12. I’ve had my boxes delivered and realize that I need more. How soon can you deliver more?

If you need more boxes than you had initially thought, call us and we will do what we can to help you out.

13. Can I keep the boxes longer if I need to?

Yes. Please call us as soon as you know that you need the boxes longer than your initial rental period.

14. I ordered too many boxes. Can I be reimbursed for the unused boxes?

No, the boxes are considered rented while in your possession.

15. Do I need to keep the boxes clean?

Yes. You are expected to keep the boxes safe and clean. After every rental, every box is inspected, cleaned, and sanitized. There will be a charge for each box that requires a deep cleaning upon return. Any boxes that are damaged will be subject to a replacement charge.
